Day to day, a Field Coordinator at RWN will:
- Monitor the activities of partner CSOs assigned to them
- Offer technical support, mentoring, and guidance
- Track how project implementation compares against the workplan
- Support MEAL (monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning) activities, including data collection and validation
- Coordinate with district and sector authorities
- Facilitate district coalition meetings
- Represent RWN at district-level meetings
- Support community mobilization and engagement
- Help run trainings, mentoring sessions, dialogue circles, and feedback sessions
- Prepare field visit, activity, and monitoring reports
- Document lessons learned, success stories, and challenges from the field
- Make sure the work stays compliant with RWN policies and Sida requirements
Finance Officer: The Role
Based at RWN's Head Office in Kigali, the Finance Officer will handle the financial side of the project. Responsibilities include:
- Keeping accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Processing payments, advances, and reimbursements
- Reconciling bank statements, cash accounts, and project ledgers
- Verifying expenditures and supporting documents from partner CSOs
- Supporting CSOs with their own financial management and reporting
- Tracking sub-grant disbursements
- Conducting financial monitoring visits
- Supporting budgeting and budget-versus-actual analysis
- Assisting with quarterly and annual financial reports
- Supporting audits and helping respond to audit queries
- Helping identify and manage financial risks
- Coordinating with procurement and admin teams on financial matters
