Rwanda Medical Supply (RMS) Ltd, the state-owned company responsible for managing Rwanda's health supply chain, is recruiting for 2 positions. These roles are suited to professionals with backgrounds in Biomedical Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, and related fields.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the specific academic and professional requirements for their chosen position, including:

• A relevant Bachelor's degree
• Relevant professional experience
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Relevant professional certifications, where required

Available Positions

1. Biomedical Engineer

• Positions available: 1
• Experience: At least 3 years
• Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field

2. Network and Security Engineer

• Positions available: 1
• Experience: Minimum 4 years in network engineering and/or cybersecurity
• Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Certification: At least one relevant certification required CCNP Enterprise, CISSP, Fortinet NSE 4/5, or Palo Alto PCNSE

Duties and Responsibilities

Biomedical Engineer

• Review medical equipment specifications and participate in tendering processes
• Conduct market analysis and support procurement activities
• Take part in the technical evaluation of bids and proposals
• Supervise installation and commissioning of medical equipment
• Support user training and warranty maintenance
• Manage the medical equipment inventory
• Monitor equipment safety, quality, and lifecycle management
• Coordinate with suppliers and healthcare stakeholders

Network and Security Engineer

• Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and VLAN infrastructure
• Manage routing, switching, firewalls, and secure network gateways
• Monitor network performance and security events
• Support SOC operations, incident response, and security investigations
• Support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Implement security controls and IAM policies
• Support cloud and hybrid network security
• Ensure compliance with security standards such as ISO 27001
